About me

My name is Aimee and I’m the goAuPair Local Area Representative for the Indianapolis area.  I’m the primary point of contact for host families and au pairs during their year together, supporting them and ensuring that the Department of State requirements that govern the program are satisfied (these regulations result in a safe, quality interaction that is mutually-beneficial to hosts and au pairs).  When I’m not supporting Au Pairs and Host Families with goAuPair, I’m a wife and mother, a backyard chicken enthusiast, and a professional historian.

About the Indianapolis goAuPair cluster

As visitors to the Super Bowl discovered, Indianapolis is a friendly and hospitable place.  We have a little of everything, from cultural attractions to top-notch educational institutions–which makes it a great place for au pairs to experience the U.S.  Plus, there are plenty of family-friendly places for families and au pairs to interact and share cultural and learning experiences!

Indianapolis is a growing, new cluster.  Host parents get flexible, affordable, live-in care and everyone involved gets exposure to a new culture.  If you are in need of a more malleable childcare schedule or looking for a way to introduce your children to a new language or increase global awareness, we hope you’ll join us!
